I interviewed a College Basketball friend of mines named Dejuan Blair who plays for the University of Pittsburgh.
Interview with Dejuan Blair
Kier: Would you rather play in a basketball game or would you rather be a spectator?
Dejuan: I would definitely like to play in a basketball game then watching one because I like to be around the environment of the game and I would like to do what I love and that’s play basketball.
Kier: Why do you like being in that situation?
Dejuan: I like to be in that situation because that how much passion and respect I have for the game I hate to watch a game go on and with me belong to that team knowing that there is nothing I can do to help my team win I would feel like I let them down a failure to myself and to others.
Kier: Why do you have so much passion for playing the game isn’t it just a game?
Dejuan: I don’t look at basketball as just being a game I look at it as it being my life. Like this is the only thing I know how to do is play basketball, I love and respect the game so much that I don’t look at it just being something I do for fun I do this for a living.
Kier: How did you get involved in the game?
Dejuan: I got involved in the game when I was younger and I was always bigger then the other kids and everybody use to tell me to play basketball and one day I played it and I liked it. I've been playing since then.
